Overview
Every day at sunset, tours of the Luminous Lagoon at Glistening Waters in Falmouth begin. The Glistening Waters boat tour takes you to a spot where Mother Nature has created a breathtaking sight that can only be seen after dusk. Visitors can participate in the light show by swimming in the waters created by microscopic organisms that emit bioluminescent light. The location is incredibly shallow, and a visit to the Luminous Lagoon is a once-in-a-lifetime experience definitely worth the trip.
Guests will be treated to a candle-lit twilight tour of the Rose Hall Great House, the former home of Annie Palmer, Jamaica's White Witch. Your tour will contain enthralling and disturbing love, murder, and mystery stories expertly narrated by knowledgeable tour guides. As these scary legends come to life at this grand house, where ghost sightings have been reported throughout the years, you're likely to get chills.

Luminous Lagoon
The Luminous Lagoon stretches across the Trelawny marshlands from the little community of Rock to the town of Falmouth. In the 18th century, when sugar was king, Falmouth was one of Jamaica's most important ports.
At the convergence of the Martha Brae River and the Caribbean Sea, the lagoon housed a dock where large ships from England unloaded cargo onto smaller ships for delivery further up the river. After reloading with sugar, rum, and other Jamaican goods, these boats would return to the harbour.
Scientists discovered that the lagoon's location was essential for another reason years after the sugar trade stopped out.
Rose Hall Haunted House
The ancient Rose Hall Great House, a restored 18th-century architectural marvel, sits at the centre of the site. Golf course frontage and spectacular views of the Caribbean Sea can be found in nearby luxury home complexes. Rose Hall is home to two of the Caribbean's most well-known golf courses, with 54 holes designed by Rick Baril and Robert von Hagge.
