On February 6th, 1945, Bob Marley was born. On May 11th, 1981, he passed away. All tourists, cruise ship and stopover passengers from Ocho Rios, Falmouth, Montego Bay, Grand Palladium, and as far west as Negril are encouraged to visit this small village. Nine Mile is a small community in the highlands of St. Ann where Bob Marley, the reggae legend, was born and, fittingly, is now buried.

Description
To maintain authenticity, all of the original rooms have been preserved in their original state. A life-size 3-dimensional hologram of Bob from the 1978 One Love Peace Concert, his Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, his personal recording studio, his bedroom, favourite clothing, a vast array of gold and platinum records received from all over the world, and the costumes of his back-up singers, the I-Threes, are among the exhibits.
Live performances of Bob are shown to each guided tour in the air-conditioned theatre, which has new state-of-the-art projection equipment. The One Love Café serves Marley-inspired dishes and juices, while the Bob Marley Gift Shop has a wide selection of Bob Marley mementos.
