Overview
Greenwood is sometimes referred to as the most original of Jamaica's great houses because it was spared during the slave insurrection of Christmas 1831. We have the largest and rarest collection of musical instruments and plantation library volumes on the island, in addition to a comprehensive collection of Jamaican antiques. This ticket will grant you entry to the museum as well as a 45-minute guided tour.

Description
Greenwood, which was built during an era of elegance and harshness, has maintained its 19th-century aura and continues to captivate visitors. Barretts of Wimpole Street, London, built the property around 1800. A 45-minute guided tour of the museum will show visitors the majority of the home's original furniture, as well as the island's largest and rarest collection of musical instruments and books.
